  Christina Allen, LME,CLT

   Entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer

 

    Following her passion for mind and body wellness, Christina harnessed her entrepreneurial spirit to l  aunch a upscale spa in one of Providence’s most desired neighborhoods, Wayland Square. She draws from more than 12 years as a Master Esthetician in Boston's prestious Back Bay to bring the best- of-breed practices and techniques to the women and men of greater Providence and surrounding communities.

     

    Christina manages the daily spa operations, oversees staff training and works actively with local business partners to source fresh and natural ingredients for use in spa services. With extensive training at institutions like Catherine Hines Institute of Esthetics, Rob Roy Academy, Empire Beauty School and the Aveda Institute, Christina has a robust backround in the 5,000 year old natural healing Ayurvedic Philosophy and has provided health and wellness services to adults across New England. In addition, she has focused training in cosmetic laser treatments and holds a State Board certification in all intensive pulsed light modalities along with multiple certifications in superficial spider vein removal, laser facial and pigmented lesion removal.

 

      In Christina’s free time she enjoys spending time with her twin toddler girls Ava and Alba, her husband Daniel and their two French bulldogs (Buddha & Julius), playing acoustic guitar, exercising and spending time outdoors.

Tiffany Russo

General Manager


Tiffany has both a degree in psychology as well as her license in Cosmetology. Her education and extensive spa management background make her a valuable asset to our Citron Team. At the Spa, Tiffany supervises the daily procedures and services while also attending to client correspondence and staff concerns.

Her love for wellness and beauty is evident in her everyday routines from her regular chic manicures to reading the latest books on mindfulness and holistic cures. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with family, friends and her shihtzu, Buddy.

Dr. Larry Thiesen,  MD

Medical Director/Owner

 

Dr Larry Thiesen is a  board certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist with 25 years of clinical experience, and a keen interest in Medical Aesthetics.  He has developed an aesthetic practice in the past 10 years, earning advanced certifications in injectable neurotoxins, dermal fillers,  and microneedling.  He has been trained in the use of Kybella, in the treatment of submental fullness, platelet rich plasma(PRP) and the Vampire Facelift and facial.  He is trained and certified in the use of cosmetic laser procedures.  And he is certified as a Medical Director.

 

Services performed by Dr. Larry include injectable neurotoxins, Botox and Dysport, Dermal fillers, Restylane, juvaderm, Microneedling treatments, Vampire Facelift and facial with PRP, Medical Grade chemical peels, and Medical Grade skin care products.

 

In addition to the above procedures, he is planning to introduce Body Contouring with the Trusculpt 3D, facial skin tightening with Radio Frequency technology, and the Hydrafacial noninvasive skin rejuvenation treatments.

We offer Aveda’s product line made with pure plant and flower essences, and specialty treatments offering hand-made creations formulated with natural elements found at local farmer's markets. We are fully committed to medical grade cleanliness, providing peace of mind and comfort to our guests. We are a haven for quiet contemplation or conversation and community. We customize treatments to fit individual needs and encourage our guests in all ways to improve their well-being and quality of life. Spa Etiquette

 

Check in time

We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appoinment time. Arriving late 15 minutes or more will result in ammended service time.

 

Cell Phones

We ask that you please turn off ringers on your cell phones while at the spa. We encourage total relaxtion for you and other Citron guests.

 

Promotional Offers

While Citron Spa enjoys giving Promotional Offers to our clients, we do not allow the combination of multiple discounts/ promotions on a service. This also includes membership discounts.

 

Conversation

Conversation and community is a big part of our culture here at Citron but we do ask that you keep a low volume while visiting us. Our relaxation room is available for you to enjoy throughout your time Citron but this room is a "Quiet Area" in our spa.

 

Cancelation Policy

For everyone's convenience, a minimum notice of 24 hours is required for all cancellations. Lack of notification within 24 hours or failure to show for an appointment, will result in a 50% charge of the reserved services.
